Digitec, is the brainchild of three gaming enthusiasts; Florian Teuteberg, Oliver Herren, and Marcel Dobler, who started the Swiss marketplace after facing difficulties accessing high-quality gaming computers locally, while the individual parts cost a fortune abroad.

From a decision to build their own gaming PCs, these friends expanded to doing for others on request and eventually decided to monetize this skill by setting up Digitec. The e-commerce site has grown to include a wider variety of digital products and today hosts more than five million tech devices that customers can order online.

The platform also grew to be an online marketplace, allowing merchants from different European countries including Germany, Italy, Austria, France, and Liechtenstein to sell to customers locally and abroad.
