just to prove a point. I have attempted to make 2,1 star post but I guess they don't pass canada post approval system for their reviews. not sure how that's a red flag for corruption!

My package was supposed to arrive on thursday but it didn't arrive not even on friday and it's still not here. the racking system is even worse, 7-8 days ago it was inbound to my city but when we got a new tracking number, it said the package was still a province away. so please fix your system because I'm starting to like FedEx more.

I am so disappointed by UPS so I came here to tell other ppl Canada Post is doing what a wongerful job that UPS is like shit. I always get my parcels from Canada Post on time. However, twice, UPS didnt even show up at my door and only I tracked my parcel to find "The receiver is not available'. UPS didnt even come to my door , and they just updated the status of my parcel! NO service at UPS! Canada Post is the best.

A business in Ontario mailed their package to me by Canada Post expedited parcel service 15 Dec 2021. According to the (so-called) online tracker, by 20 Dec 2021, the parcel had reached Richmond, BC (in greater Vancouver), a three hour driver/ferry ride from my home on southern Vancouver Island. As of 1 January 2022, the parcel has now been sitting in CP's Richmond facility for 12 days with zero movement. Given there will be no activity over the weekend, the parcel will, as of Monday, have been sitting there for two weeks and been 'in transit' for 19 days! I have called Canada Post twice and on both occasions received no help whatsoever. The first time I called on 21 Dec, I got a guy on the phone whose accent was so thick, I could hardly understand a word he was saying. It was very frustrating trying to deal with him. I finally managed to figure out that he was telling me that he would raise a ticket to expedite the parcel. That was evidently not done (as is evident from my current predicament). All the online tracker was doing was automatically refreshing every 24 hours, telling me the parcel would be delivered by the end of the day the next day. Utterly useless. Almost as useless as their so-called 'online chat' function on their web site. It's a bot, not a person. You might as well have a conversation with a block of cheese! My second call to CP was even less productive than the first. I got a lady who sounded like she was talking into her phone through a wet towel (are these people all working from home due to COVID - if so, why? Everyone else is going to work!). She mumbled something about COVID and floods and snow, etc. All BS, of course! The rest of society has managed to develop appropriate protocols to work around the COVID issues, avoiding major disruptions; why can't Canada Post? The flood excuse doesn't fly - the roads, etc., have been open for weeks. As for the claim of winter conditions causing problems - pathetic! We had worse weather in previous years and the Canada Post was delivering on Saturdays and beyond usual hours to clear the Christmas backlog. What's changed? COVID? Not buying it! Upper management needs to be held to account! Given that the left hand clearly doen't know what the right hand is doing, the eternal optimist in me thought that there maybe a simple issue of incompetent communication, so I have visited my local Post Office several times in the last few days out of morbid curiosity, just to see on the off-chance if the package had miraculously showed up. Of course, it had not. With uncharacteristic self control in such situations, I offered a (commensurately muted) verbal protest on each occasion, only to be met with dead sheeps' eyes and fish lips. I had expected the visits to be entirely fruitless and got exactly what I expected, so no rude surpises there! Said block of cheese is looking better day-by-day! I tried to lodge a complaint with the Canada Post Ombudsman, but halfway through filling out the online form, read that the complaint has to be submitted by the sender, not the intended recipient. Why? Againm utterky useless. To say that this is a maddeningly frustrating exercise is a major understatement, especially, when my wife and I have both ordered items via other delivery means and had them to us within the stated timeline or even sooner (my wife ordered packing materials for her home business this week and they arrived the next day!). I sent a couple of items to other locations in western Canada in the last few days and they arrived (on average) four to five days later. Canada Post has become an unreliable, faceless, unapproachable, careless, and oddly callous corporate entity, rather than the solid critical service provider that Canadians need and deserve.

wish I could put no stars. waiting over a month and a half for a package in 2021 is unbelievably lame!!!! stay away from using Canada post if you can.....as a Canadian I am super embarrassed for them.

Learn to Pivot

I fully appreciate that this is the busiest time of year. I also appreciate there are delays because of the flooding in BC. Given those are both known factors, why is mail from the east, destined for Golden BC routed through Richmond BC when it is 3 hours by car from Calgary. Surely Calgary is a big enough clearing centre. Richmond is 10-12 hour drive in the best of times. Time to pivot like the rest of businesses have had to learn to do.

This review is for a canada post employee, at the Fletcher's Creek Post Office in Brampton, Juliet Fernandes. In my opinion, she is the absolutely best in terms of efficiency, patience,relaying information and I could go on and on. I have observed her on many occasion dealing with customers, and I must say, I was quite impressed with the level of professionalism that she has displayed. Even if she's alone and there is a line-up, she never get anxious or annoyed, She deals with each customer as an individual, and with the same level of respect. I wish if we have more people like her in , because I have had some demons, that wake up on the wrong side of their bed each day, and have no business dealing with the public. They should be in the forest dealing with wild animals.

I really hope they shutdown forever. all the good feedbacks here are fake. they never attempt to deliver to an appartement and they drag you to pick it up and wait 30 minutes in lineup FUCK YOU CANADA POST BURN

Canada post has the worst from my experience I went to collect my Amazon parcel at the market mall CALGARY location and the woman I met there was horrible. After showing her my pick up code my ID she insisted I give her utility bill which I'm not the one paying for. She said I go to my bank to collect bank letter that has my address. She refused to accept letter Canada post delivered in my address. After 3 hours of calling Amazon and Canada post I travel to my bank to get print out. When I return to her she said " I spoke to my and he said your pick up code was enough to collect your parcel". That was rubish. Why can't she ask her if she was not sure what to do before I left. That is Nonsence. Market mall Canada post CALGARY.
