The original "Swift and Shift" couriers. This company is an absolute joke and should be avoided like the plague. I was expecting a small package to be delivered from the Hobart depot but instead received a "sorry we missed you" card in the letterbox. I waited all day for the doorbell to ring but nothing until I found the card. The package was small enough to leave in the letterbox. I contacted them and was told to use the website to schedule another delivery which I did for the following day. Again waited but nothing. Phoned the again who told me that I had obviously made a mistake on the website. He also told me that the driver had rung my doorbell four times before leaving the card. Total bullshit. Drivers don't have time to ring doorbells four times and my dog goes spare when the doorbell rings, so someone was lying. I had to then drive to their depot where I met the useless, rude and insulting . How this turkey has become a beggars belief and is a reflection on this useless company.

Really a disappointing experience with Direct Freight. We were expecting a delivery on Monday of this week, and as we did not leave the house all day no delivery arrived. In mail box was a "Missed You Notice" and to arrange another time. The neighbour spotted the driver who parked his vehicle and made no attempt to ring the door bell or to contact us... just left the note in letter box. After waiting 20 minutes on the phone waiting for the so called representative we finally got the delivery changed to yesterday. On arrival the driver off loaded the product by his truck and not even put into our garage. It was up to my wife and a 81year old neighbour to complete the so called service....We would not recommend this company based on our experience.

Disappointing service

Direct freight promised a certain delivery date- item did not arrive. Since discovered item has been passed onto another company who are ‘sick of direct freight doing this to them’. They cannot advise me of a delivery date. This is a replacement item as direct freight broke the original item during transit. I would not use this company.

Never again

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. They'll answer the phone in a heartbeat if you choose "sales", then put you through to the "appropriate number ' which never gets answered. Nothing express about this company.

Im a business owner who had a phone call from Daniel who works at Dandenong Sth Depot he had a parcels for me which I live in NSW but sender provided wrong address on label. He provided a great and make sure those items are back to depot for RTS as obviously sender mixed addresses on label. Thanks Daniel wish we have more honest drivers and caring like you

Had already stated to leave parcel in mailbox, but instead they left a card for me to organise for it to be sent out, again, asking for instructions of whether to leave it. I'd already fcking specified to leave it. And the website shonky and extremely difficult to use. I had no choice but to use this company, if I had a choose I wouldn't use it

Cheap with the service to match

I’ve dealt with Direct Freight several times with only 2 experiences being remotely neutral. I’ve had parts of shipments lost where they’ve failed to scan all items and thus some items being lost in transport. To rectify this I spent hours over the course of 2 months trying to recover my items with no feedback to myself rather simply ‘an internal investigation is underway’ and outcomes never being mentioned or noted, just closed off. I’ve also more recently had items of freight not delivered besides a card ‘sorry we missed you’ with 4 optional instructions. The exact same item had previously been delivered by them while in absence with no quarrel, now in light of the fact of offering a ‘deliver if absent in safe location’ prior to tracking it and follow delivery the company must now come back out to my area and repeat the delivery, while having to wait several days did this reattempt.

Took forever to work out your tracking when I finally worked it out it said it was it a depot in Sudney on 27/6/19 and was to be out for delevered 28/6/19 waited all day nothing Monday comes waited all day still nothing ,phoned first thing Tuesday was told my parcel was being held at depot they would get back to me ASAP 5 hours later still waiting ,I phoned and was told my order would be delivered now on Wednesday 3/7/19 it turned up about 1.30pm but with a different courier the tracking still tells me that it is still in Sydney the 27/6/19 There is no communication from direct freight and I have wasted 3 days waiting if I builled them for my time they would be the A Holes jumping up and down never again

Delivery driver brought to my door and was friendly, so he redeemed my opinion somewhat. I wouldn't use them if I needed something in a hurry. Tracking was poor too. Estimated delivery 2days Actual 8 days
