Delayed action

Terrible service. UNISA study material was posted on the 18 January 2020 & today is the 13 February 2020. Material not received. Not even trackable with a tracking number. Terrible service.

Fed up

Unfortunately, I cannot rate 0-10. Should be 0 star. I recommend we all use the DHL's and Fedex's out there. These guys are clowns.

EC105101701BE package has been in SA since 19 Dec 2019 and has not been delivered yet

I have just tried to contact the call centre and held on the line for 7 minutes with a message saying all agents are still busy. It then refers you to the SA Post office website which cannot open. I sincerely hope the post office can return to a functioning organisation.

SAPO...

...means "toad" in Spanish. Maybe they need a mascot.

Horrendous

Why do South Africans tolerate this sh*t? Far less developed countries manage to have a functioning postal service. Just had another (my third) package that was supposed to come from SA to the USA stolen before it even left the receiving PO in Joberg.

I propose a total shut down for SA Post Office. Its beyond dysfunctional. I doesnt even deserve 1 star just that it wont allow me to leave below zero.

Disgusting

I sent three parcels to my family in Canada in the first week in June I registered one parcel as it contained a bigger value of goods And it arrived in 9 weeks The other two parcel have not arrived It's not about the value of the goods it's about the fact that my two grandchildren never got the gifts that were lovingly sent to them by their Nana . I feel like why did I bother to send the parcels when so many people warned me not to waste my money . And I so wanted to prove them wrong .

Shit service!!!!!!!

First encounter Post office operating hours on Saturdays and Sundays is 9am- 1pm. I went to the one at Protea Glen Mall to post job applications via fast mail. I got there at 12:15, but it was closed already. At the door they left a notice that read "door closed due to aircon, push". I pushed the door but it was locked. I stood there for about 20 minutes. There was no movement inside. So they assumed it was Sunday it's not busy and it's okay to leave. But it wasn't knock off time yet. Smh Second encounter Two days later, I received a call from post office but the one situated at Meadowlands, Soweto. I was expecting parcels from abroad. I told them I can't come personally I'll send my mom. The lady who called me told me to tell my mom to bring my ID and hers along. I asked her if that is all and she said yes. I did that as instructed. My mom went the next day with both our IDs. When she got there they asked for a receipt. I don't understand what receipt because I ordered my parcels via an app and the only proof I had was on my phone. They are difficult!! I wasted so much money with the ups and downs. They might as well just close it down.

Ps...

And the most worrying thing is the last "track" said Origin : SA Destination : UNKNOWN !! That is for a UK parcel sent to SA !! Doesnt seen like they know what Origin is

NO SA tracking update in 11 days

How does a parcel leave the UK via various channels within 24 hours ? Only to arrive in SA , and then linger around JIMC (Joburg International Mailing Centre) for 15 days ? The SA tracking has huge gaps . It fructuates between that or vague repetitive variations of the same jumbled info , often similar dates and times ! Why dont they scan as soon as it enters each section , like a normal effecient post office.
