First encounter Post operating hours on Saturdays and Sundays is 9am- 1pm. I went to the one at Protea Glen Mall to post job applications via fast mail. I got there at 12:15, but it was closed already. At the door they left a notice that read "door closed due to aircon, push". I pushed the door but it was locked. I stood there for about 20 minutes. There was no movement inside. So they assumed it was Sunday it's not busy and it's okay to leave. But it wasn't knock off time yet. Smh Second encounter Two days later, I received a call from post but the one situated at Meadowlands, Soweto. I was expecting parcels from abroad. I told them I can't come personally I'll send my mom. The lady who called me told me to tell my mom to bring my ID and hers along. I asked her if that is all and she said yes. I did that as instructed. My mom went the next day with both our IDs. When she got there they asked for a receipt. I don't understand what receipt because I ordered my parcels via an app and the only proof I had was on my phone. They are difficult!! I wasted so much money with the ups and downs. They might as well just close it down.
