Worked with them a few times and there was no issue, till this recent mailing, I sent 3 parcels to Singapore. 18 days in transits and it is still sitting in transit. They parcel was send from this destination to that destination on tracking as who knows why they send my parcels around Bangkok...
Wrote to Thai Post Office and it was a cut and paste reply saying despatch to destination country. But tracking shows still in Bangkok. At the post office, the customer service said I would receive in Singapore between 8 to 12 days.
I do not know if it is the different ground crew that Thai Post used, prefix EE, RR, I never have issues, but this time CP, once is enough. Paid a high price for low quality service.
An anxious and disappointed customer of Thai Post. I hope they didn't lost the parcel as the parcel contain works of my grandfather and my grandfather had passed on for 10 over years.
If you have any chance to avoid dealing with Koh Phangan Post office (the delivery staff) just do it. They don´t give you a notice in your postbox, tell the sender it´s returning and it´s still there if you ask why. Absolute rude communication and agressive
Unfortunately I have to use Thailand Post on a regular basis as I live here. They often lose mail, refuse to investigate, pass blame to the sender, and are generally horribly unprofessional. If sending within Thailand, better to pay a little more & use Kerry Express.
My second attempt to send docs to a US government agency via EMS Air Mail has ended in failure - again!!!. My first attempt on 4 July 2019 ended up being notified that they were never received, so I sent them again on 16 October via EMS Air Mail. Lost again!!!. It took 16 days to go from SMC to New York ( 17 Oct - 2 Nov ) and they have now disappeared on the last 100 mile trip. I am holding Thailand Post and USPS responsible for the $24,000 payment I was to receive based upon the docs being delivered.
Sent 3 parcels with Thai post about a week apart, 1 was sent to the UK, 1 was sent to New Zealand and 1 was sent to the USA. Paid extra for the registered service. Both items never reached the destination, Thai post were no help at all when we contacted them.
Tracking says "Processed Through Facility SUVARNABHUMI MAIL CENTRE (SMC), THAILAND" that's it says, all three parcels lost.
Get the feeling international post with them just does not work at all - avoid at all costs.
After waiting weeks for my package to arrive I eventually emailed them to see what was going on and I just received a vague copy past email saying the delivery failed with no further information. I then emailed them to find out how I could get my package and I received yet another vague copy paste email saying it was in the destination country(God knows where). Eventually they put me in touch with the wrong postal service in Taiwan who could actually give me some useful information.
