Damaged items.
I have had repeated issues with Yodel's service. Most recently, they damaged the item for my mother's birthday and could not deliver it. The couriers are just chucking items on top of others, there is no care for the items in the van. My neighbor had to speak to one driver before, as she caught him tossing parcels back in the van. My advice to businesses is not to use Yodel, as they will end up costing your company money through losses, damages, and late deliveries.
Lost my parcel!!!!
Only reason I’m giving 1 star is because I have to. An absolute disappointment of a company who fail to do the minimum of what a delivery service should... DELIVER! Why reputable companies use them I do not know! After going back and forth and expecting a delivery everyday they have now told me they have lost the parcel! They also lied and said they tried to deliver and left a note. No note and if they tried to deliver it they must have had my parcel surely.

Usual missing parcel game, claimed they delivered it by hand to the customer, yeah yeah right, ive got a big external cctv system which showed nothing, proof of delivery was their sat nav co-ordinates, no photo, no signature, zip, spent an hour on the phone to some joker who read the company manual to me, no resolution, apology, nothing. The clown then simply hung up on me. 4 weeks later and im still trying to get it sorted, nightmare. These morons give delivery companies a bad name and SHOULD NEVER BE USED no matter how desperate you are
How are Yodel still in business???
How are Yodel still in business??? Not really one to complain much. But this one got Tom me quite a bit. I ordered an Xbox series x for very which arrived at yodel’s Northampton depot Friday 18th December. Around 8:30am. It sat their for 4 days. During these 4 days of hell, I spent going back and fourth with their very unhelpful webchat team. Speaking to the 3/4 times a day each as unhelpful as the next. Might I add why does it take everyone of your webchat ‘employees’ 5 or so minutes to spew out such generic responses?? I’d literally give my shipping address. Wait 3 minutes. Just to be told... “thank you for confirming your shipping address. I’ll look into this for you. It’s ridiculous. This whole company is about as useful as a Nokia phone case. It’s impossible to speak to a real person. Not that it’s help anyways but I guess it’s better than the same robot monotonous replies the webchat give. I was told that their had been some sort of priority put on my parcel so the depot could update them. Something of the sort. My case was put under an ‘investigation’. I get an email back saying, a driver had been interviewed and that the outcome was that my parcel “WILL” be redelivered “today” (Monday 21st). Firstly, I had no update on any driver, as my parcel had never been out for delivery. Secondly, it can’t be “redelivered” if it was never delivered once already. Or no delivery had been attempted. Lies from top to bottom. Anyway, Tuesday 22nd December I was out out of my misery. The cherry on the cake. 8:19am my parcel was finally loaded onto a van in Northampton. Literally at 8:20 it’s loaded off. They’ve only gone and damaged my parcel that I’ve been trying to wrestle from them for the better part of a week. Now its getting sent back to Very for a refund. As the Xbox series x is nearly impossible to buy. Thanks Yodel
Worst delivery company ever
yodel couldnt care less about customer's recived a message to say they tried to deliver my parcel but no one was home no note was left and I was home all day now they are saying just wait and see if it turns up today fed up of there fob off attitude
Worst service I ever received from a delivery companies
Normally I rather write good or nothing. But todays bad experience was not the first with Yodel. I was expecting an important delivery. I even took a day off from work just to make sure I will be at home to receive the package which was due to arrive between 17:47-19:47. Than at 18:22 I received an email while sitting in my living room, saying that the driver tried to deliver the parcel but I was not home. Noone ever rang the bell, kmock the door or phoned me for guidance. Clearly the driver just ignored to deliver my parcel. When trying to contac customer support to complain and offer that I go and collect the package myself as it is important, I felt the support staff ignorant as well. I felt absolutely let down. And again it is not the first time I had issue with Yodel. Worst service I ever received from delivery companies.
Terrible service
Parcels missing and they take no accountability
Rubbish
I had a parcel delivery with flowers and wine. The drive insisted it was delivered to a house on the next street to me. The owner said it did not belong to him but the driver ignored him and left it anyway. Fortunately the gentleman was honest and brought it round to me. the box was damaged and water was spilling everywhere. The driver didn't seem to care which way up he handled the carton even though there were arrow on it to help him. I most certainly would NOT recommend Yodel to anyone.
